I hope that you will protect Medicaid as Trumpcare is being discussed in the Senate. Both Ohio Governor John Kasich and I want that very much.
I believe that if the version of Trumpcare passed by the House becomes law, many Ohioans and other Americans will needlessly die and many Ohioans and other Americans will needlessly go bankrupt.
One version of Trumpcare that I would like to see is Medicare for All, or at least a public option for those who want it. Trump made some promises about healthcare during his campaign that Medicare for All would help him deliver on.
I believe the House was cowardly to vote for Trumpcare before the Congressional Budget Office made its report.
