Problem of evil
A rape occurs; where is God?
Tell me: Is God good?

A gang rape occurs
I would at least call police
God just walks on by

Yor succinctness has convinced me that if there are gods then they have given up on the human race. Leaving us to face our self-inflicted demise. We are the only cause of world suffering, and not only do we abuse each other, we abuse the true sustainer of all life on earth, NATURE. As a result of our own wrongdoings leaders of religions preach that it is retribution for evils done unto what they believe in, hypocrites all. In fact, nature has been abused since the human race evolved, up to the present, only now is it coming to the fore that we have indeed overstepped the mark. Acts of nature are never committed with malicious intent. Think about it, especially in this time of modern technology, why do we continue to build anything, let alone sites where we plan to live in mass gatherings on/at places’ that pose threats, the most obvious are coastal, and river banks. Like there is never going to be a flood? Sadly, when they do, they blame nature, when in fact the flood intensities and their occurrences are all down to climate warming, caused by what, no caused by who, yes us, by virtue of pollution in every imaginable form. Metaphorically speaking, it is, no, we are, forcing nature’s hand, and all the evil, in all its forms are inadvertently encouraging it. A gods’ work, no, or has it/them, whatever, truly given up hope on us?

Had a quick glimpse, but with respect, I am in throes of giving up on religion, period, and what I read convinced me that I might be correct..
With much respect,
